Buildings Insurance explained

Buildings insurance is designed to provide financial protection if there's damage to the structure of your home, such as the walls, roof and floors. It usually covers damage to fixtures and fittings too.

Home Contents Insurance explained

Home Contents Insurance is designed to cover your possessions against fire, theft and other risks, such as accidental damage. If something happens to destroy or damage your possessions, it can cost a lot of money to replace these items. You do not necessarily need to own your own home to take out Contents Insurance. As a tenant you may also want to consider protecting your possessions.
